The Boys & Girls Club of Manitowoc County (BGCMC) received $18,636 thanks to collective efforts driven by 100+ Women Who Care – Manitowoc County. Giving circle members funding along with two matching grants to empower and increase overall support for the youth the organization serves each year.

Back in November of 2023, the BGCMC was chosen as the recipient of the group’s November giving circle funds totaling $12,636. Along with the funds from the giving circle members, and a $1,000 match gift from the Neshotah Foundation, the advocate group also applied for a matching grant from the Richard M Schulze Family Foundation out of Minneapolis, MN which supports Power of 100 – Women Who Care groups throughout the country. At the end of March, they were notified that they were awarded the $5,000 matching grant. This makes the total the Club received from the giving circle, $18,636! These funds will create more opportunities for Club members this summer through engaging, fun activities and programs, field trips, and nutritious meals.

The Boys & Girls Club of Manitowoc County would like to thank the members of the 100+ Women Who Care – Manitowoc County group, Debbie Knox for nominating the Club, the Neshotah Foundation for partnering with the organization to award extra funding, and the Richard M Schulze Family Foundation for supporting groups like the 100+ Women Who Care – Manitowoc County.
